How hard is this trek Gokyo Lake & Everest Panorama?
This is one of the exciting treks around world highest peaks; walk is moderate with touch of high altitude of above 3,000 meters. We have set enough rest to acclimatize well before heading higher elevation.
How cold and what to expect on this trek?
Depending upon the season of trekking, autumn and winter months can get cold above 2,000 meters especially morning and night time but the day is pleasant with sunny days most of the season. Other season beside monsoon / wet months is pleasant with occasional thunder showers during late afternoon.
How are the lodge and foods on route trekking?
As you will be trekking on mainstream trekking trails, the lodges are nice and cozy with attached bathrooms available till Namche, from then on lodge are simple and basic but clean with common bathrooms. Foods are as per the menu from Nepali set meals of Dal Bhat, Noodles (soup or fired) continental / Chinese to Mexican and Italian with Indian verities. It is better to stick with vegetarian food while on trek as it is not healthy due to hygiene. Higher above 4,000 m food menu are limited due to remoteness and high terrain climate conditions.
